03 Jun How to Draw ALDO (Tangle Step by Step)
Would you like to learn how to draw this organic Zentangle pattern? ALDO is an original tangle inspired by cotton flowers, here’s the step-by-step tutorial:

What is the tangle ALDO?
ALDO is a botanical Zentangle pattern made of rounded floral forms that playfully grow and expand through the tile. Its cloud-like shapes and soft curves make it especially satisfying to draw, they’re small blossoms that can be arranged in a lot of different ways.

The inspiration behind my tangle ALDO

ALDO was inspired by the soft silhouettes of cotton flowers. I was drawn to how easily you could simplify the shape of the flower, creating something almost abstract in just a few arc strokes.
As someone who often creates tangles inspired by architecture and modern geometric forms, designing ALDO felt like stepping out of my comfort zone. Something looser that gave me space to explore a more organic style.
